Joy School Party at the Zoo

For our "end of year" party at joy school, Emmett went with his buddies to the zoo. We had such a good time! Emmett enjoyed himself, and even though it was so cold that it snowed, we were relatively prepared for the cold and weren't as uncomfortable as some of the others who were dressed for sunshine.

Emmett was terrified of the merry-go-round and screamed hysterically through the entire ride, even though I stood next to him and held onto him.

Only at the end of the ride did he finally decide that he enjoyed it. Maybe I shouldn't be so mean and make him do something that is so scary to him, but he is afraid of so many things that sometimes I feel the need to be a bit pushy.
