Last Photos of the Summer

Playing in the back yard with the sprinklers and water table one last time.

Enjoying another hike along the Bonneville Shoreline trail.

The mud on his face is from biting on the stick in his hand and carrying it around pretending to be a puppy.

All worn out at the end of the hike. It was a challenge to keep him awake in the car so that he could have a good nap when we got home!

One more hot dog roast in the backyard.

Bethany wore one of Emmett's old outfits. I'd say she pulled off the dinosaur look with flying colors! :)

And of course we also had the kind of fun that doesn't always require summer weather, such as...

Driving cars around (but hopefully not on) Bethany.

Tummy time has become a brother-sister activity. Emmett is very good at planting his face in the carpet like Bethany and wiggling around.

Licking the chocolate off the spoon I used to make chocolate popcorn for Bethany's blessing luncheon.

If only this happened more often, he would be in heaven!
