Bear Lake 2013

We were so excited to go to Bear Lake this year with my cousins from my dad's side of the family. Casey took two days off and we planned on being there the entire time. Unfortunately, the children didn't get the memo that vacation = fun. Emmett threw up twice on the way there, and then that night Bethany woke everyone up at 1am and refused to go back to sleep. Everyone was in such a horrible mood, no one could sleep, and Emmett kept begging to go home, so at 4am we called it quits, packed our bags again and went home. Emmett threw up three times on the way home (he was very polite and said, "excuse me" before crying hysterically over the fact that he was covered head to toe in vomit), our car smelled horrible, and we swore off family vacations for the next two years... or at least until Bethany learns to sleep in a different location besides her own crib.
