Emmett Quotes

E: Mommy, are you big like me?
L: Yep. In fact, I'm even bigger than you.
E: Well I'm taller than you.

"Bethany's cryin'. She needs a mommy."

"Mommy, are you so happy to be scary?"

"Don't spit in the crib!"

"Don't pick you're nose in the big boy bed!"

Kicks me, then asks, "Mommy, are you mad?"

Kicks me (again), then states,"Mommy, you gonna cry? If you cry you get out of this room. Whiny girls get out right now!"

"You wanna do a dinosaur spit?"

"I want to be happy and awake."

"She's (Bethany) holding my hand! Don't break Emmett's hand, Bethany!"

L: Do you want to go to the play place?
E: Oh yes! I surely do!

"Mommy, this house is so messy. We need to sweep it up!"

Emmett's going potty, "Daddy, don't  watch me!"

E: Mommy, whatcha doin'?
L: I'm driving.
E No Mommy! Stop it right now! Emmett wants to drive!

Pulling up his pants after going potty he wiggled his bum and exclaimed, "Shark bait oo ah ah!" (Finding Nemo reference)

While washing his hands at the sink I heard him singing, "Head, shoulders, knees and p----."

E: Is Daddy a grown up?
L: Yep.
E: Mommy, you're not a grown up. You're just a girl.

Looking at my zit, "Mommy, you have a spot! It's a nice spot. I want to pet the spot and give it a kiss!"

L: Emmett, what are you doing?
E: Oh, I'm just sitting here being busy.

Pats the bed next to him and asks, "Mommy, you want to sleep in the big boy bed with Emmett?"

"Monsters are so silly! Ha ha ha!"

Singing Old MacDonald, "...and on that farm he had a Parasaralophus (type of dinosaur)..."

"Watch Bethany! Emmetts got BIG MUSCLES! (flexes) GRRR!!"

I caught Emmett snacking on boogers.
L: Emmett! That's gross! We don't eat boogers!
E: (pulls a long slimy one out of his mouth) Oh, sorry. Here you go, Mommy!

Runs up behind me while I'm cooking dinner, wraps his arms around my knees, plants a big kiss on my bum and exclaims, "I love you, Mommy!"

Calls from the other room, "Come here, my squishy mommy!"

"Daddy is my buddy-boy and Mommy is my buddy-girl."

E: My body is trying to tell me something.
L: What is it trying to tell you?
E: My body is telling me it's hungry.
L: I'm hungry too. We'll be home soon and then we can eat dinner.
E: Mommy, feed my body. Feed my Emmett's body, please.

Coming in to wake me up in the morning, "Emmett's awake! Are you awake, Mommy? Emmett's going to up the bed with you, Mommy!"

Opening the door to the bathroom when I forgot to lock it, he clasped his hands together and exclaimed with a grin, "Oh Mommy! You're doing great!"

Sitting on the couch he patted his lap and asked, "Mommy, you want to come cuddle with Emmett? Come sit on my lap and cuddle, Mommy."

"Mommy, can I flip on you?"

Begging to be held, "I NEED UP!!"

"I'm so grumpy. I need to go to time out."

In a spontaneous moment of incredible cuteness, I caught him dancing in front of Bethany singing, "Bethany's my lovey! Bethany's my lovey!"

B: Ahhhhhhh. Ahhhh.
E: Bethany's singing! She's singing about crying.

"Mommy, I want to pick your nose."
