I'm gradually getting better at figuring out what makes Bethany happy and content. It's taken a while, but these are the concrete rules we have uncovered:
- Never forget to give BOTH full doses of reflux medicine each day or everyone will be crying and not just the baby.
- Wet diapers will not be tolerated, but even more importantly, the second you hear a rumbling in her diaper, run to the changing table as fast as you can (light speed is preferable).
- Always be vigilant for the first signs of a sleepy baby. If you put her down at the right moment she falls immediately asleep without any effort. Miss that critical window, and expect at least three hours of screaming.
As long as these three rules are followed there are smiles and cute little baby coos for everyone. JUST DON'T FORGET THE RULES!

I'm impressed. You figured out her rules quickly. It took me much longer to figure out the rules for my kids (especially Lily).
