Emmett's Words &Sentences
Emmett is learning so many new words and phrases that it is almost impossible to document. He constantly parrots back everything anyone says or that he sees on the tv and expands his vocabulary each day. I've attempted to record some of the things he says most regularly, but in reality, this child is talking a mile a minute, all the time. It's SO fun!
Points at the light: "Is it on?" "Is it off?" "See the light?"
"Where is the (fill in a word)?"
While eating: "Is it good?" "Is it hot?" "Mmmm, so good!" "Want some more?"
"Want down" "Want up."
"Help!"
"Is it red/green/blue?"
"More tickles?" "More kisses?"
"Wanna bite, please?"
"You wanna go outside? Okay!!"
"Let go!"
When I'm in my wheel chair he's a big helper and gets behind me to give me a boost. The whole time he says "Push Mama!" over and over.
Looking at cars: "Is it fast? Vroom!"
"Is that a bus/cat/truck,etc?"
"Is that Mama's wheelchair?"
"HI!"
"I love (insert word)."
When he falls or hits his head: "Bump!"
Before or after he messes himself: "Poo-poo diaper!"
"Is Daddy home?"
Every grown man is a Dada, every grown woman is a Mama, every old man is a Papa, and every older woman is a Gram-graw.
"Wanna go for a ride?"
"Eyebrows!"
"One...two...three!"
"Watch Elmo?"
