We were inspired by Deb and Neal's trip to Antelope Island to do the same. So today we loaded the boy into the car, got some water and snacks and headed out the door for a fun little family outing.
We saw a lot of buffalo and antelope. We pointed them out to Emmett, but he was relatively unimpressed.
Emmett's favorite thing in the whole world is riding in his carrier. Sometimes Casey will walk around the house with him in it, just because Emmett has so much fun. He's all smiles and giggles when he's in it... except when the sun is in his eyes. :)
We went on a little hike up Buffalo Point and saw some great views.
Emmett gets his belly from his daddy. ;)
It was a very full day! Emmett was exhausted. He slept through the last part of our trip when Mom carried him "snuggle-style" and slept through the entire drive home. He was such a good boy! Maybe Mom and Dad will be brave enough to try another outing with him again sometime soon.
