So we've finally gotten our living room, kitchen, and bathroom arranged the way we want them. Our bedroom is mostly done... just a few things need rearranging. The baby's room is, well, a lot better than it used to be but still quite messy. Although there are a lot of quirks about the place, I really do like it here, and I think that it feels much more like a home to me than even our other apartment did. The walls still seem a little bare, but overall, I really think it's very cozy and comfortable. Yes, we've had a slight spider problem (one woke me up in the morning as it was crawling around inside the front my shirt), and our refrigerator gave us trouble until we got it replaced, and there are quite a few other random weird things we continually discover, but we feel very happy and content.
Here are a few pictures of the new place, at least of those rooms that are in decent condition to be photographed! Also, please note the nice new desk we just bought and the gliding rocking chair. Thank you KSL for cheap furniture!

Here's the view as you walk in the front door of the living room and dining room. Notice the beautiful roses on the table that Casey surprised me with this afternoon. He's so wonderful! :)

And the view from the other end of the living room...

Our "cozy nook" as I like to think of it, with lots of books to read and a comfy chair to sit in.

The kitchen. There's no dishwasher, but so far we've managed to keep on top of the dishes just fine without one. Besides, the dishwasher at our last apartment was possessed. It made tons of noise and ruined some of our dishes.

I do miss having two bathrooms, but at least we have lots of counter space. The shower room is really itty-bitty, but the fan works and in our last place it was broken so we always had to fight orange mold from the condensation.
So as you can see, it's not very big, but it will be just fine for the two of us and I'm pretty sure we can squeeze a third in when the time comes. All in all, we're pretty pleased with our new little home. Hopefully we'll get to have some of you over to visit soon. We love to play games and eat good food with friends and family! :)

Yeah! It feels so good to have a place and get settled!
Don't forget to show pictures of the baby's room when you have extra time... :)
I might, but it's not going to be very fancy! It'll probably consist of a pack n' play situated among book shelves and storage. A cute little nursery probably won't happen for this one, but he'll be so little, we figure he won't mind! :)
Yay for homemaking! It looks cute, Lisa! :)
He totally won't mind about the nursery... cheap furniture is great! It looks great. It must feel good be be getting settled!
You're place looks nice. I love your rocking chair . . . and you'll love it even more when you spend hours rocking your little one in it.
I still want to see nursery pictures, even if it isn't anything fancy. (I'll post pictures of my makeshift nursery, so I'm not being a hypocrite.)
