Well, the kids finally asked me, point blank, "Mrs. Sledge, are you pregnant?" At the grocery store on Saturday a stranger standing in line next to me told me congratulations. I asked for what, and she smiled and rubbed her belly. Then at church yesterday, two other recent mothers came running up to me with congratulations.
So sometime within the last week or two I've gone from "donuts" to definitely pregnant. Although the scrutiny of my new shape is a little new to me, I have to admit that I'm enjoying how excited everyone is. Plus, it's reassuring to think that I'm no longer just looking fat!

Awww, look how cute you are. I still look that way and I am not pregnant.
LOVE IT! You drink that milk, girly! :D
I've decided it all depends on the clothes you're wearing. Tighter=more emphasis on tummy.
So, I've been meaning to clarify my comment . . . . on days I wear something more "form fitting" or tighter, people exclaim all day long "Hey, you finally look pregnant!" But on the days when I wear one of my long roomy sweaters with fitted jeans, people are surprised when I mention I'm 23 weeks pregnant.
So, I meant that it's all about the fit of a woman's clothes whether or not people decide she looks pregnant. Of course at the end it's different.
That is such a fun phase!!! I agree about the clothes thing... it really changes how you look!
Haha. Yay! You look so cute. :)
Just wait . . . soon you'll have strangers coming up and rubbing your belly. Some women don't mind this or even enjoy this . . . but it drives me CRAZY!
