Our New Apartment
Casey and I are having doubts about our new apartment. Casey believes that bad things can happen ANYWHERE you live and that we should keep our contract and not lose the $150 deposit or have to go through the ordeal of finding a new place to live. I understand that... however, the fact remains that I am somewhat less excited to move to this particular complex after a resident opened fire on his neighbors, had a standoff with the police, and subsequently died. We had a police stand off outside out Lehi apartment when Melissa was a baby. It's scary! Crazy things can happen anywhere, but you have to go by whether you feel safe there or not.
