New Hair

I hate my hair. It has been the exact same for so many years. Also, it's just gotten thinner after the kids were born and it's so long that it always gets tangled and takes ages to brush out again after a shower. Not only that, but it only looks good for about 4 hours after I've showered and then it turns frizzy and ugly again. Yuck.Also, Emmett tries to drive his cars in my hair and the wheels get caught, and Bethany can't keep her hands out of it either.

So I chopped it off. I picked out a random salon off the internet, showed up with a few pictures for ideas, but basically told the girl their to chop it off any way she wanted to. I figured that my husband loves me and I don't hardly go anywhere, so if I got an ugly haircut it wouldn't be the end of the world.

As it happens, I'm actually quite happy with the result. And wearing my hair straight has actually turned out to be easier than curly. Drying/straightening short hair doesn't take much time and then it continues to look pretty good for a couple of days.
