It's hard to believe how much he has grown and changed during such a short period of time. We just can't imagine our family without him. Yesterday was a little bit of a rough day for me, but I managed to get upstairs and join in the little birthday party we had for him. I was so excited for an excuse to spoil my boy! Emmett was thrilled to eat cake and got lots of new toys to play with.
Aunt Vonnie was sweet and got Emmett a couple of gifts as well- a toy broom to help Mom in the kitchen with and a magnetic doodle-pad so that he can draw pictures all day long if he likes and never ruin a single wall or piece of furniture. :)

Emmett also got some car pajamas, a Mickey's Clubhouse video, an inflatable swimming pool, and a new pair of swim trunks. We might have spoiled him just a little bit-- he seemed pretty overwhelmed by the number of new things to play with! But on the other hand, he's been such a little trooper the last several months and with the new baby coming soon and all, I think he was due for a little spoiling. :) We love our sweet two-year-old! Happy birthday, angel!
