Newest Development: Emmett's First Sentence

After many attempts at trying to teach Emmett to say "I love you" and only getting as far as "I luv" we decided to put a more familiar word at the end of the sentence. Emmett grasped the idea quickly. He's not a screamer when he wakes up in the mornings or from naps and never has been. He's always woken up in a good mood and babbled to himself happily until we come get him (I love this about our child). Now, every morning we wake up to his cute little voice in the baby monitor saying, "I luv Da-da" over and over and over again. It is adorable.
