Emmett loves to dance, but it's hard to get it on camera. In this video, we finally did it!
Emmett is also climbing all over everything now... even when we wish he wouldn't.
Emmett is very good at finding his belly button, but also loves to show you where his nose is. In fact, sometimes we struggle trying to STOP him from showing people where his nose is... and eating the results.
It's hard to find privacy with Emmett always following close on your heels. Even in the bathroom, Emmett likes to stick his fingers under the door and have you grab them.
He also likes to play with the doors and often accidentally locks himself into a room by doing so.
And last but not least, Emmett loves to play with his new kitty, Darwin. We adopted Darwin yesterday from the Humane Society. We have been considering getting a cat for a while now but when we went to play at the Humane Society yesterday (something we've done for entertainment for several years now) I saw a cat that looked so much like my childhood pet, Mitten, that I just couldn't help but take him out of his cage to play with. He is three years old-- we always knew we didn't want a kitten with Emmett around. He was so sweet and we liked him so much that we took him home to stay. He is very patient with Emmett so far, very quiet and doesn't meow a lot, likes to jump up on laps to say "hey" but doesn't always get under foot. He uses his litter box and scratches his scratching post instead of the furniture so far. We are very excited to have him as part of the family!

I can't even tell you how jealous Kyra is over Darwin! Curtis's family better not get a cat now, or she might just explode!
