I feel like I haven't done a very good job at uploading lots of pictures on the blog, so Emmett fans, this post is for you! :)
Tummy time was once terrible torture, where Emmett would see things he desperately wanted and not be able to get to them. Those days are over. This little boy has mastered the "army crawl" and gets from point A to point B lightening quick. I'm betting he'll be full on crawling by next week!
One of his favorite places to go is the book shelves for some light reading.
We call this look the "Chris Farely" look. Emmett uses it when he is seriously displeased. At the moment he is upset that his food isn't prepared more quickly.
Emmett loves the Pooh Bear Hara gave him for Christmas.
Yum. I figured that Emmett needed a plastic spoon shot like his cousins Audrey and Kenzie.
His new favorite position for sleeping is with his knees tucked under his tummy and his bum sticking high up into the air. It cracks me up!
This boy loves to get out of the house and go on adventures with Mom and Dad. He never cries in his car seat anymore and is always a good sport wherever we go... though sometimes he gets a little loud and talkative when we should be quiet. Like at the art museum we tried to visit today...
Emmett loves to scoot into the kitchen where he knows there will be lots of interesting grime on the floor to discover.
Wait a minute! What's that speck over there??
Ooooo. Green thread.
Got it!
Now if only his fingers were coordinated to pick it up of the floor and eat it. Soon enough. I'm going to have to do some major deep cleaning. And if you zoom in on the pictures... please excuse the grime on my oven and floor. Yuck.
Please also ignore the left over squash in Emmett's nose. Wiping his face after meals is often an epic battle and sometimes we miss a few details...
