Emmett had his first bath in an actual bathtub yesterday! He loved kicking his legs in the water and thought it was lots of fun. Here are a few of my favorite pictures.
Emmett was very excited when I told him he was going to take a "big kid" bath instead of a sponge bath. He gave me a great big smile!
When he first got in the tub, he wasn't really sure what to think about it and pulled a few funny faces.
After a little while he got used to it. Although he remained a bit stoic throughout the experience, he enjoyed kicking his feet around and splashing his mom.
It's so embarrassing to have pictures taken at bath time, but at least we tried to keep him modest. Aside from a small tinkling accident in the tub, I'd say Emmett's first bath experience was a great success.
