So we found a cute little apartment in south SLC. It's a 2 bed, 2 bath apartment on the second floor. We wanted the second bedroom for an office and then figured we'd take the second bathroom since it was cheaper than the one bathroom model. There's also a cute little fireplace in the living room and a balcony. Even though our little apartment in Provo has been wonderful, we're both excited to get out of the basement, leave window well views behind, and have a little more space to spread out.
The earliest day we can move is July 8th, which is a Wednesday. We're going to start moving the smaller things that day, but we'll try to move the larger things on Saturday, July 11th. We were thinking that we might just get a U-Haul to move it... but then again, if anyone has a truck and some spare time that day, we would love to feed you a delicious dinner and reimburse you for gas if you feel inclined to help out.
The larger items to be moved are:
-a queen-sized mattress
-one heavy wood dresser
-a tall book shelf
-wire rack shelves
-coffee table
-a love seat/hide-a-bed
We might decide that the U-Haul is the best way to go anyway, but I think Casey might be grateful to have some help getting the hide-a-bed and dresser out of the basement and then into our second floor apartment.
So... free dinner anyone? :)

If we were there we totally would help out!!!
Sorry we don't live closer, otherwise, I would definitely help you out. Isn't moving such a pain?
Sorry we're not there either! But, I have to say from experience that a Uhaul is a great way to go. That's what we did when we moved from Provo to Pleasant Grove and then again to Midvale. It's not that expensive and may end up being the same price as gas for a million small trips from Provo to Salt Lake--especially since some of the bigger trucks can be gas guzzlers. We once borrowed a friend's truck to haul a bed from Provo to Midvale for Audrey. After filling up the tank, we wished we'd asked how much it costs to fill their tank because it was a lot.
We're excited to help. Let us know any more details as it gets closer.
