Going Sledding

One of the highlights of our vacation was spending Christmas Day outside playing in the snow. Casey and I went for a walk and then spent the rest of the evening sledding. The hill was perfect that day. Our neighbor, Rick, helped us out by driving his SUV up and down the hill several times to pack down the snow, giving us some extra speed. Toward the end of the evening, even Mom went out sledding with me! It was so much fun and brought back a lot of childhood memories.

This first picture is Casey as he pushes off from the top of the hill.

My turn down the hill.

Mom was especially daring. She out did us all by sledding backwards over the edge of a very steep cliff.

I'm so glad to see that it isn't my age that makes that hill harder to climb every year, but that the hill itself actually IS getting steeper!

All these pictures are hilarious! You make me wish I'd been there so badly!

It looks like you had a great time visiting your parents! I'm sorry I wasn't able to come over and see you. It would have been a blast to go sledding with you.
