Thanksgiving 08

To kick off the holidays, I decided to surprise Lisa a week before Thanksgiving with a roasted chicken experiment (whoa, good band name) that turned out to be amazing. I am extremely proud, even if that's wicked. Then we took off to Reno with 2 of my cousins to stay with my parents for a few days.

Our typical Sledge Thanksgiving was fantastic as usual, but this year to celebrate Black Friday, we partied at a casino buffet rather than eating leftovers. We ate our weight in crab legs and fried potstickers made by real live Chinese people.

Lisa's mandatory take-a-picture-of-me-eating shot.

My parents have 2 dogs, one is a large Rhodesian Ridgeback female named Boon, and the other is a Jack Russel terrier we call Emmy. Lisa immediately became best friends with both dogs, but Boon in particular. I caught of picture of them spooning.

Let's have the "Roasted Chicken Experiment" in Redmond at Christmas. It looks delicious!
