GO BEES!

Tonight I actually attended family home evening for the first time in about five months. No, I wasn't turning apostate, I just was always working during the time that we had FHE each week and I was unable to participate for a really long time! Well tonight we had our first FHE with our combined wards and it felt wonderful to get out and get to know more people and make more friends. We drove to SLC and watched the AAA baseball team "The Bees" from the most comfortable seats in the house: The grassy hill past the outfield. It was great to lay out our blankets, watch the game and talk, and it only cost us $2.00! I had a wonderful time.

I'm really enjoying having time now for a social life and getting out to have some fun. Working 42 hours a week and going to school full time really wore me down and I think now I'm going a little crazy playing! Tomorrow night I'm going to a BBQ, Thursday night I'm going to a "cheese party", and Saturday I'm going rock climbing with friends. I don't know what I'll do Wednesday and Friday nights, but I'm sure there will be something exciting going on! Needless to say, I'm having a BLAST!
